Does anyone else have a strange health ailment that causes them to want to buy knives .I have way more than I use and in fact most of the ones I own have never been used to cut anything But still when I SEE KNIVES FOR SALE I can not avoid looking at them . I hope this post is OK If not please remove it Today I was looking at an auction house website that runs gun sales and other kinds of outdoor related items such as archery ,tree stands ammo trapping and camping items on a regular basis Today I saw they are having a sale strictly for knives. I am thinking I will need to do some research to deci9de if I need to add something to my small time collection To avoid any conflict concerning no advertising if anyone is interested in the auction house website you can PM me.

I like knife but am very picky. I have a few for different task like I use a Kershaw leak for my knife to use with the kill cone when doing chickens.

But for the most part I'm a one knife guy. Currently for the last 4 years a Kershaw Emerson 6030. Big enough in my hand and to do any task, thun enough I don't notice it in my pocket,and cheap enough when it gets broken or lost I'm not going to be to up set. I alway look at knife drawn like moth to a flame but seldom break out the cash.

I have the same ailment, slightly different symptoms. I have an issue passing up Winchester Model 12's. There is a Pigeon Grade 20 ga causing me issues at the present time. Dang, it's an itch that won't stop.

I have a similar affliction but mine is books, just got to buy books. I am picky but if I want ti I buy it LOL

Knives and good hand held or headlamp lights.

Bob I totally understand what you are saying about good headlamps When I as a young man I could navigate through the woods on darkest night and reach my destination without a light at all .Now I am always searching for a better light than the 1/2 dozen or more I already have

Mike I do enjoy reading also and have a good size collection over the years

I also have a strain of the gun virus .It gets bad if they both hit me at the same time .And at times the gun type just keeps hanging on until you take your medicine

Yep, I suffer from this affliction. Bark River, LT Wright, Hinderer, Kershaw, ZT, Benchmade, Protech and Microtech to name a few favorites of mine..lol

Well if someone is going to dispose of my income I at least should have some say as to where it goes How does that joke go I spent a lot of my money on women, drinking and gambling .The rest I wasted At least I can say I spent mine on guns, knives and flashlights So I have something to show for my effort.

I have piles of knives.
I have wore out a lot,and some that will never get wore out.

I have same affliction, but mine is for traps. I have more than I'll ever use, but I'm always watching for used traps at garage sales and conventions.

Current knife is a Kershaw 3140 jb, Wild cat ridge, hefty knife, stout enough for most any job. Wish I had another for a spare.

I love knifes but don't have an addiction I guess and I'm not up on them. Here's one, a little knife porn lol. Actually I know nothing about it, how old it is, and it's the only one like it I have, my Mama got it for me years ago for my birthday. Being the dummy I am I thought I'd gut and skin one deer with it and got a big drop of blood on the sheath. Other then that, it's pretty nice. Ink pens Jayme???

I won this Russel Belt Knife at the FIC banquet in Ottawa a few years back.
It wont get wore out.
