Yes big time they would. And here we have, a Moderator on a trapping site that disagreed with someone for promoting fur, not for misunderstanding the times we are in. He never said anything about amazon, price, quantity. Just simply, promotion. I think it would be good to promote fur, more so in the times we're in.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Feeding grounds , can you give me some kind of percentage or demographic. I'm talking a out as a population.
If you say yeah I see quit a few and most of those people are deer hunters or ice fisherman around there you live then that doesn't give a very even or fair showing of the whole of society. If you hang around nothing but trappers or other people who like wear fur then your only around a small majority or people.

Now if it's every other person from 20 something to 60 from various demographics then that's different.

So just because I'm a mod that mean I have to be someone who just 100% agress with everything? O boy I disagree! Ok ? And ? The problem ?
Again yes I understand what he said. Again I explained why it probably wouldn't do any good at this point in time. I then gave my reasons why I do t think it would. He could be 100% right I could be 100% wrong ,I'm just trying to make my thoughts clear on the subject and why I think what I think with the use some basic economic points my generation makes a lot of decisions off of. I mean I could probably go and ask a bunch of my friends " hay if you where having problems feeling yourself due to high inflation, you cont heat your house and it's a cold winter would you buy a fur blanket? Why or why not" they would probably say some stuff with similar reasons.

Honestly I have to ask has anyone actually sat down with people and asked them " hay why don't you where fur" "what would make you want to wear fur ?" I actually have

Fashon drove the coyote market with the Canada Goose fad-had nothing to do with keeping warm when you cant heat your house.
Two totally different things-buying fur to keep warm and buying fur for fashon.Even though people who wear fur for warmth also look great.
Look at russians in the large arctic cities-lots of people wearing fur for warmth, but they also wear fur to look good too.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

OK -- so nutria it is -- cant get much more utilitarian than that -- no value in the raw materials there -- maybe push the possums in the warmer climates -- I'm in grin

Well, I think your 100% wrong on this one Wolfie. No, you don't have to agree on things other than fur. You hammered a guy for asking why fur isn't being promoted and then put it in your parameters of thinking. Fur should always be promoted, especially now.

You can get a nice one that keeps you nice and warm down to -10 for less $200 heck I still have my sleep system form the army and I've slept in it and was toasty warm down to -10 many a night in the desert. ( Ft bliss gets cold as heck at night no joke)

Again when you have such a cheap option fur us really going to have to do some extra to compete. That's what I'm getting at.

Fur is by far the cheapest option and warmest.Fur robe will outlast the best sleeping bag by decades. You would also need a couple sleeping bags at least for a good sized bunk.

Yeah no. I've said it a 100x. This is what you said and yes, you fried a fella for a comment promoting fur. This is the last comment I'll make. You are wrong. This is the best time to promote fur, in the past, the now, and the future.

Fasion made fur out of reach for many people.
Look at Europe , they out lawed trapping and using fur.
Wonder how many coats or fur blankets could be made from the 10,000 + muskrats tossed in a burn pile every year.
Have to control the population of muskrats , to protect the dikes .
Common sense has left the building because of people relying on emotion instead of common sense.
