I wanted to put trail cams on the water side of the entrance to a beavers bank den recently. I scrounged around and found three Hagz Brackets I hadn’t used and also had some 48 inch x 3/8 inch fiberglass rods. I set these out about 2 ft from the bank and twisted a 14 ga wire collar/stop about 12-14 inches from the top to keep the trail cam from riding down the rod and submerging itself.

I had to put the rods in at an angle due to the Hagz Bracket but other than that they worked good. Here’s a pic of the bracket on my trail cam.

Here’s one of the pics I got from that camera.

Hope this gives someone some ideas if they’re in a similar situation.
