I recently learned that the term “Redneck” is racist and triggers certain individuals. My brother is a manager and told some of his employees he was taking off going fishing with his “redneck” brother and was quickly told by a couple women that they were now triggered and felt unsafe if he went with me (his redneck brother).
Apparently “redneck” now means you’re racist and mean to harm “people of color.” They insisted he cancel his trip. He gave them a choice…he was going and when he returned they could either quit or keep working or they could also file a complaint with upper management. He also broke out his little notebook of documentation’s on each of them and said if they went to management then he would as well.
When I talked to him yesterday, everyone was all happy and still working and he wasn’t racist when he came back, lol.

Well atleast now we know whos going to be non essential when the budget cuts come. My god, redneck has always meant just a slight upgrade from coona$$. Backwoods, using a flat head screwdriver to clean your fingernails, "sporterizing" older milsurp rifles, lots of duct tape, super glue and just if it works send it mentality.

Last post here, I now realize why the people that actually know how to trap are no longer here. No hard feelings to Paul. It's his sight and he appoints moderators as he see fit. When you can't speak the truth without being sensored it's time for me to leave.

I didn’t touch your comment nor any you made, I'm 100% fine with you saying whatever you wish about me.

With all due respect, you don’t come here to post pictures of your catches either. The same could be said of you. Looking at it objectively, I don’t think he plays the race card, either. You can always put someone on ignore where you won’t see their posts if you don’t like Wolfdog. There are plants of people on here whose posts I intentionally read over.

It wasn’t too long ago you posted….

I am going to make it a priority to do more with my wife and kids. I own my own business and take less days off than anyone. That's fixing to change. Time to live like you are dying because you are everyday.

God Bless!

Life is too short to worry about things in this thread also. Losing my own mother to cancer 2 weeks ago has also reminded me of this.

Good Lord, probably shouldn't have opened this thread !

My family is from Vicksburg, Ms, I learned alot about racism

In the 70s when I was young, I also learned what side of the arches to

stay once it got dark. People will find an excuse to be evil and full of hate.

Some of my fondest memories were on the river , selling catfish, turtles,

and black market gators to the river rat houses, predominantly these

we're black folks or a mixture of black, white and some native

Americans, Cajuns is what they were called. There was no such

thing on the river as black or white, all of us were fisherman, color didn't matter.

That was on the river.....now on the other side of the stone arches on highway 80,

It was a different world, pure evil existed because it could.

I find it interesting that I cannot be proud of my mixed heratage

and mention it without becoming a racist but a person of African desert can do

so without any retribution. Something is Souray wrong here !

Buzzard, gets it. He's lived it.

There's a strange split in the southern soul. The what is and the what is done in polite society.

I've grown up on both sides of those arches, Buzzard.

Wish I could stay on river side for the rest of my life but we all know the fish gets sold on the other side.

... reminds me of a time when there was a colored man in town named Rastus that wasn’t right in the head due to fallin off the back of a pulpwood truck ... he’d run from folks and hide under the house peering back out with wide eyes.. and all of the other pulpwooders would laugh and call him names .. shoot they wouldn’t even let poor Rastus play in any quarters games.... then one night on Christmas Eve a trapper came to say “Rastus with your eyes so wide..help me flesh this wildcat hide”

... not sure where I was going with that ...
