Title says it all. Got them marinating in onion, garlic salt and pepper in the fridge. What should be added ?

Thanks nvwrangler, put the red wine into the marinade after the suggestion. Got to find some shrooms. I have frozen puffball from last fall......that will be my fall back if I can't get the mushrooms , Would you suatee them first or just toss them in raw ?

I grew alot of turnips and been using them and their greens in moose stews along with a can of cream of mushroom soup makes every cut good if cooked long enough. I use a pressure cooker for shank cuts and ribs, they cut with a fork in 30 minuets.

yukonjeff, I have not used turnips in a long time. Will try them if I can find any. NY grocery stores are not well stocked with that veggie. Thanks for the suggestion.

crock pot on high for about 8 hours, do just as you would pulled pork and use your favorite B B Q sauce. Add any fixings you like on sandwich. Can add a small pork shoulder for a little extra flavor.

Found a couple turnips and let the entire crock pot stew for 4 hours. Smells were as good as the tender meat.
