Was hunting an airport one time and a guy came out while we were packing up and said some shot was raining on their shop a block away. He didn't care but I don't think most people would be so understanding. He hunted with us the next day. Lol
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

I would say 100yds and shoot away from any buildings, cars, roads, etc Being considerate of residential areas when hunting AM. Most folks don't want to wake up to a rooster crowing, let alone shotgun blasts Now if some idiot puts a subdivision in the middle of ag fields .........................................

Been awhile back but I found a video of a couple guys testing different shotgun shell loads for waterfowl and the distance. Can’t remember the distances or what but was farther then one would think. Wind can have an effect also. I try to stay away from places as far as possible, cause that’s one thing I don’t want to worry about. Very practical approach to make sure there is no chance for any problems to arise It is always within the hunters control to be safe and responsible for their actions
