Ok. Its day 14. I came out from sheep camp. Bout 25 miles to town. So im not in phone service range very often. Few pics. Caught 5 coyotes in traps 2 in snares. VERY SLOW Not much left here

Yes. Did not want to post non targets = sheep. BUT have caught 4 so far. I am using NEW spring set up on MJ 600s. Did 50 set up like this. Pics next MY new set up may cost me a fortune. But foot damage? Is at a all time low with this set up.

MChewk. Forgot to mention. Unlike cows. Sheep are harder to keep out or off traps. Sometimes. I say Sometimes you can. Slip a trap. Under a thorny tree and keep cows off it. Now sheep ? Nope. Just like a goat. Go anywhere. Just have to work hard. To keep sheep out of sets. NO urine used in sheep or cattle country for me. Just Be on locations. And use good lure. Not using = JL # 1. It has fish oil in it. Just = Coyotero and Winter Wolf seam to work best where i am now

I believe in another post that you mentioned this is the second time this year you’ve trapped this place. Are the numbers just low overall as in the county or was there not enough time between visits for other coyotes to move in? Are others ranches trapping around you and maybe that’s why no other coyotes or low numbers?

Wanna Be. This is tuff sheep country. Everyone here traps. You have = Government USDA trappers. You have. Down the road = County Program traps. You have private sector guys like me and my friend. BUT everyone works for a common goal. KILL EVERY COYOTE. County guys have as US for help. And we have ask for a helicopter to be put on fresh sheep kill in summertime. Im just here for 2 months. The other 10 months a friend runs this place and other places. But we know and are friends with = USDA guys. And county extension guys cross the line or fence from us. As i said everyone pulls together to kill coyotes.
