Post your question on the wilderness forum.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Here in central BC my general recommendation is to space marten set’s ˝ mile apart within suitable habitat. Suitable habitat being relatively dense overhead tree cover and shrubs along with “coarse woody debris” (downed logs, stumps, snags, litter) which provides protective cover for both marten and their primary prey.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Jerry experience in wyoming is a quarter to half mile.

He just got back yesterday from hisartwn trapping trip in wyoming where he caught 75 in about 3 weeks

Try a few sets closer to the ground if youre.checking every couple.days.. you might be surprised what you catch in the lower sets.

IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !
