Sweet potatoes for sure. Followed closely by green bean casserole.

That stuffing thing in Alabama needs some splainin'.

You see we eat DRESSING in Alabama, never stuffing.

Stuffing is something yankees make with light bread and stick up a turkeys butt. We make our dressing with cornbread and it does not go in the bird but into it's own pan.

I'm sure the rest of the south would agree.

I like the cranberry sauce when it looks like the aluminum can. Not that it tastes good, i just like how it looks. I think turkey is the most overrated food compared to all the support foods. It is superior the following few days in the form of cold sandwiches.

That's the problem cranberry sauce is made by boiling cranberries adding a ton of sugar. Cranberry jelly looks like a can. I don't know how anyone would say they hate the sauce, jelly sure that stuff is gross.

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

This Arkansan says take your stuffing and stuff it! Cornbread dressing is for Thanksgiving.

All those Thanksgiving foods are in the rear view mirror when those Christmas fruit cakes start showing up. Many of which have been handed down from generation to generation ( the actual cake not the recipe), lol!

To dislike minced meat pie is blasphemy.

I like the back meat on turkey. The proper carved off pieces are garbage. But hey, gravy makes everything slide down the hatch.

A few years ago we decided to do a BBQ Thanksgiving. No traditional Thanksgiving foods. It was one of my favorites.

My nostalgic daughters nixed it the next year.

I like all of them. It's all part of the experience. But I better clarify. I like all of it if my wife is doing the cooking. When she Cooks EVERYTHING is made from fresh raw ingredients. Nothing from a can or box mix Nothing. A good % is raised or grown on our farm.

Now if you're talking what get served most Places well I still enjoy it but there is no comparison to fresh made from scratch.

I'm very lucky and borderline spoiled.
