What do you do for a Hobby?

I think Trapping, Hunting and fishing is more of a life style but, what do you do in the off season?

Trying something new and then failing at it seems to be my hobby LOL

Failure is just part of learning. its normal.

I tried growing lions mane mushrooms over the summer my first couple attempts I just grew really healthy mold.

Gardening.

That made me giggle sly. Griffin, I don't post much on newbie threads, I don't trust ya till I see you earn it. You, are either alright or really good at the game. I haven't decided yet. But what's the harm in saying I love to bring back to life, old kerosene lanterns, old small gas motors, and cast iron skillets.

My body doesn't allow me to do what I'd like anymore but when I can, I love to bring something discarded back to life. I think that's a hobby.

I swear I don't bite, I like to talk but to each their own. I'm a marginal trapper at best, that's why I am here.

I have a few old kerosene lanterns, I still use them at camp when I don't want to hear the generator run. I've never restored one, though I do have a couple old storm lanterns I have been meaning to get fixed up.

I actually have a small collection of old Coleman fuel Lanterns and Stoves. I love to keep them going, reminds me of when I was young.

Gardening, golfing, tormenting liberals

Golf, just got into leatherwork earlier this year and I'm really enjoying it.

Hobbies are for people who dont have enough work to do.

Are you sure? Seems like one of your hobbies from 2018 is getting tea for your wife.

To some, cutting, hauling, splitting and stacking wood is a hobby. I ran out of time and bought a couple cord this year. so mostly just throwing and stacking.
Besides, if I'm not busy the wife will find something for me to do.

I tie some of the ugliest jigs and Flys a guy can make.

Have a horse I enjoy training and riding.

Works just been to busy for hobbies the past couple years.

What's a hobby.

I hunt trap a few varmints., keep bees, maple sugaring, garden Raise dary goats, meat and egg chickens, garden and can, fix my old farm equipment when it breaks, cut and split wood for heat. And go to church functions when I'm not at my paying job. Are those hobbies? I always see it as things that need done but I do enjoy them most of the time.
