Care to share some photos of the ducks you've been shooting?

If I had been shooting any to take pictures of, I would. This has been the most messed up season I have ever had. I can throw a rock from my yard into Pool 7 of the Mississippi, where I keep my boat. In 20 minutes I can be a couple miles out into the backwaters of a famous area, known for decades to be one of the best.

Habitat has been allowed by government agencies to degrade to the point the birds simply don't stay here like they used to, if at all. Weather has been more attractive to golfing and sunbathing, neither of which I enjoy or will take part in.

This is my 57th year of duck hunting, 45 of which have been right here with occasional trips to Sask., Manitoba, and the Dakotas. I can safely say this has been the most frustrating, least productive season yet, and I am not one that has to kill ducks to enjoy it. I am currently living on the joy of duck hunting I am seeing in my 5 year old Grandson's eyes as he helps set the decoys, and the hope that the flights are still coming and may spent a little time here.
