That's an impressive rack Joco Now if you guys would start gutting them in the field that would be really impressive! (Just kidding) lol Don't see an entrance or exit wound, where did you hit him?

Here the story. I got in the stand about 5am. I was hearing a lot of leaves cracking and such before daylight, so I knew there was movement. Not long after it got light enough to see, I spotted a few does a couple hundred yards off. It wasn't long and the chase was on. A broke rack nine point, an 8, and a smaller 6 point ran the does all around a pasture. They finally came in my direction. They got behind me, I glanced over to my left and this guy jumped a fence to see what the commotion was all about. I ranged him at 70 then. The whole group ran up a hill thru the wood as I grunted and snort wheezed to get his attention. They paid me no mind and went on. I thought well that's bowhunting, the big one got away again. 20 minutes later, I had 3 does come in and hang out under the stand. I heard a couple of grunts and here he came charging back down the hill thru the timber. When the does looked towards him, I grabbed the crossbow. He came in on a string and I bleated to stop him. Of course he stopped behind a tree with no shot. The does started heading out. He was going with them, I bleated again and he kept moving, no shot. I bleated again LOUD. He slammed on brakes in an opening at about 22 yards and I let her rip. It was a good hit and he didn't go 15 yards. I saw him fall from the stand. I was so excited I started shaking really bad so I sat down for about 30 minutes and tried to get it together before i climbed down lol. So that's my story, just a great day in the woods and I got really lucky and am thankful for it.

@ beavertrapper, pike co. in that part of the ILL state you hardly even realize your there till you go to buy something like gas or see a goofy looking white and yellow police car.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
