Most days, from the ground level of things that really REALLY matter, political speak seems a zillion miles away. I know that since I was a kid, I've witnessed people place faith in politics and since I was a kid, people seem disillusioned by what they see. Yet they still keep placing their faith in politics. It'll start up again... right about.... now. For 2024.
Can someone please make the spam texts to my phone day in and day out STOP! That's my hope.

My faith is not placed on a country or human being but rather a Savior that died for me. Election results are disappointing but not unexpected given what we know regarding the depravity of man. It does sadden me to see the choices our country is making as a voting population. That sentiment is getting deeper and deeper. We will be missing some family members this Thanksgiving, their choice. Might not be the end of times but it’s definitely the start of a new season.

So was it a blue wave? Was at my wife's bosses watch party and haven't seen the news. Was a red wave here in Arkansas but that was expected.

Hopefully the house goes Republican, that's all that's needed to stop the bleeding.
As for Pa, I had hope that people were smarter than they are but nope! Same type folks live in Little Rock. They reelected their democrat mayor that is out in the open corrupt. I guess people like living in crap holes.

Fetterman is the projected winner.
Anyone who thought Mastriano was going to beat Shapiro were deluding themselves. Mastriano is fairly radical in some of his thinking.. Our Republican choices for governor (Mastranni) and senator (Oz) sucked. I wasn't expecting either one to win.
Eh...wot?

I'm slowly losing faith in my fellow man when it pertains to politics in this country.
I attribute it to the teachings and brainwashing of our moral values in public schools That is a huge part of the problem and it's be happening for several generations of young people.
Eh...wot?

As for Pa, I had hope that people were smarter than they are but nope! It looks like we won the house. Oz was a poor choice, I still don't know why Trump endorsed him. Even so he should have been able to beat Fetterman. I think a lot of rural Republicans stayed home (as usual) while city-libs voted early and often (also as usual).
Eh...wot?

The recreational use of marijuana didn't pass here. It is interesting that the votes by county for this amendment correspond with the same counties that voted majority democrat.

here in KS every county but 3 is red. Yet somehow we still have the same governor. Our supreme court looks like a kamala harris convention but somehow they all kept their job. There was a chance to amend the constitution so that legislature could over rule anything the governor does. That failed. The amendment to allow the governor to remove an elected sheriff passed.
dont look here no shenanigans in ks

Well FDR in the 30's started the massive government spending in exchange for votes and here we are... almost 100 years later and it still works. Wonderfully.
The red and blue maps are striking in their appearance but the urban bureaucracy is something to behold. It isn't striking. It's expanding and along with the $$$$ of it, the people vote. Every time. More and more.

Bingo! Funny how there’s only Election Day issues in key toss up states. One of life’s mysteries I guess.
