I know that you can drink black coffee for blood work fasting, is that something that the Lord will accept also?

Fasting is really healthy for us. Being full and bloated all day is not good.

A diabetic has different requirements than non diabetics.

I think I could use fasting…at least a couple of days, lol. It is strange to see how your body reacts, if you pay attention to things like that.

Fasting is overrated. What ya do is go to Taco Bell. You end up with the ultimate colon cleanse for around 15 bucks. Couple days and your good to go. Follow me for good tips and advice.

That's not hard to do going downhill on that stretch of road. Everybody is going over the limit there. Interesting piece of road. Fun ride.

Lots of benefits to fasting. And many different ways to do it. I've done it maybe 6 times. 5 days was the longest.

Last I looked into it they were studying fasting as a prevention/ treatment for alzhimers( I know it's not spelled right). Fasting speeds up ur brain functions. I was able to get to 7.5% of capacity. Lol also have seen people lower their Blood pressure and cholesterol by cutting their caloric intake in half two separate days a week.

Whats the point of fasting helping against Alzheimers when ya forget to eat ??

I think the study was focused on very early stages and people genetically predisposed to alzheimers. Been awhile since I watched the documentary on it.

The Lord has never asked me to fast, but he certainly knows I could drop 50 lbs. Drastic diets can trigger AFIB response. It did for me. Be kind to your organs. They work hard for you.

Unless you're following Mosaic Law, fasting rules are a bit more lax. Though if you're mormon im pretty sure coffee ia a no-no.

Biblical fasting is no food.

Blood work fasting is no food or liquid calorie intake.

Only thing about drinking coffee is it does nothing to quench thirst. It makes it worse for me.

I fast every day.

I eat my first meal of the day at around 4;30 pm, then another at 10:00 pm so fast for 16- 18 hrs every day. I dont eat breakfast or lunch, not hungry then anyway. It works great for me.I am 6 2"
and stay between 175-180 lbs
