Not our Buzzard, real turkey buzzard vultures. I see conflicting beliefs. One landed in a tree this morning, eyeing our chickens. So I eliminated any threat.

Under the Migratory bird treaty act of 1918. It is illegal to kill turkey vultures. That said I have never heard of anyone having a problem with chickens and turkeys vultures. Turkey vultures don't have talons, black vultures do. Black vultures have been spreading northward for some time now. Was a very interesting thread on this forum not to long ago on both vultures
