I have known Ted Hanson aka akntrpr here on Tman for a year's now. We have done a bunch of hunting, fishing, and trapping together and in the course of doing the things we love we shared a little bit about ourselves.

Ted a lifetime member of the Alaska Trapping Association (ATA), was born and raised in TOK Alaska and grew up with his family inspiring him to trap. He has been trapping since he was 8 years old and when his uncle offered him $300 for his first lynx Ted was hooked for life

His dad loved toying around with lures and came up with a formula that was smoking hot for lynx, wolverine, and fox that produced in TOK's cold winters.
Ted took that formula tweaked it a bit, named it Meowch, along with 2 other lures, LynxJynx and CatNap.

Three years ago following his passion for all things trapping he opened Ted's Fur Shed were he started marketing his lure, buying fur/skulls and selling gear.

I was pretty happy for him last year when he was able to get his product on the shelves at Three Bears here in AK.

And I am really excited for him this year because his lure has been picked up by Minnesota Trapping Products (MTP)!

I have two jars of Meowich I look forward to trying once the lynx come back. Ted needs to open up a trapping supply/ furbuying shop in Fairbanks
