This is an easier one for me. When I buy a gun, it generally never leaves...........unless I hate it. And, there have been those.............
Mossberg 835............felt like a 4x4 deckpost in the hands. Patterned like a turd. Loose and clunky piece of plastic junk.

Savage 99C in .308 Win.........4" groups at 100. Kicked like Festus' mule Ruth. Action worked as smooth as a set of tank tracks.

Remington 700 ADL synthetic in .270 Win........shot VERY well. Gritty action. Blind magazine was a pain in the hind end.

Remington ADL in 223 caliber. I was more accurate throwing rocks.

Ruger american in 308 kicked really bad. Bolt felt like I was pushing a banana back into the skin. The magazine held 5 would only cycle two. I replaced the mag with a brand new one and it did the exact same thing.

Edit- Also bought an old Mosin once, once I got all the cosmolin out found the bore was completely shot out
Shot it anways a bit and it wouldn't hit the ground pointing straight down lol

Remington 870 (90's). Worst shotgun I ever owned in terms of quality, fit and finish.Remington semi auto .308 not sure of model ..cheap plastic parts, very poor quality. Fell apart within 2 years of light use.

 Just happy to be here.

I’ve got an RG .22 revolver short nose. I think it’s from 1960s or 1970s. Plastic simulated wood grain handle. Hold 6 rounds. Expect to reload several times on the trap line, even at only one carch. You can throw the gun and hit the target more accurately than trying to shoot the target with it. Even on the trap line at extremely close ranges expect lots of misses. I am not exaggerating. We call it the sprayer and it has been put away permanently in our safe until I can use it on a trade in. For self defense you would literally need to stick it into the abdomen of an attacker and even then I’m not convinced you would hit the attacker. It’s worthless.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

A knock-off of a Stevens 22 singleshot pistol. The half-(This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) notch would not hold the hammer, the short little hammer had almost zero knurlling on it so it was slippery, and no hammer safety block. It unintentionally fired a couple of times while cocking it; sold it.

Should’ve contacted Ruger. I have the exact gun and it’s performed flawlessly and mine doesn’t kick at all, even at rapid fire. Yeah hogs get the entire magazine, lol. My 8yr old shoots it at the range and never even mentions a kick at all. | | |

Same. Mine was in 243 Win. Tried sighting it in and eventually had to move target to within 25 yards to see where it was hitting. After a box of shells, target looked like it had been hit with a shotgun. Couldn't hit the side of a barn......from the inside.

I had forgotten, but I had that same revolver; what a piece of junk. It was hard to hit a trapped bobcat in the head from two feet away. Sold it for $50 at a garage sale.
