I want to thank Paul for allowing me to do this or to show this to you.

Fuel prices are so high in shipping it’s just Extremely high. Those that can build your own trap allow the exorbitant expense to be lessened.
I physically can’t do what I used to do. Age kind of catches up to you once in a while. Here’s a video that shows the basics of what I plan to offer. The mechanisms or trigger system that I developed will be sold through Kieth Winkler and Sterlingfur. The mechanism allows A multitude of designs for using a cage trap.

They’re available now from Sterlingfur. I’m promoting a short spring and a long spring for firing in a door on a guillotine door trap. I’m limited on those springs right now but next week by Monday that will be eliminated. I don’t think there will be a problem getting them to you first minis we’ve already got on hand. The mechanism comes with a fire and spring but you have to order the door springs additional. The springs are all stainless steel and proven with my other traps that I had.
He will be promoting the guillotine door trips first. Videos for showing how to build them won’t be out till next week. If you already have one of my traps you can just copy it As long as you have purchased the mechanism from Winkler Sterlingfur. Thank you so much

Wouldn't happen to know if they're going to post them on their website do you ? Look around it for a bit and haven't seen it featured . Is it a call in only deal ?

Sterlingfur’s phone number is 330-939-3763. I think they just been real busy. Something that I think you should be aware of I found recommend Riverdale wire, cold roll rod.
The firing springs on the door are real important to be made the way that we made them. You can’t buy over the counter springs that will work like that and have any problems at all. They’re just more expensive to make.

Here’s a video that shows a asimple gravity door trap. My Power door version of it would be best to catch beaver water or otter. It’s real clear n it shows how the trap works. You can see how the trap is made to this video also. The trap in this video is about 32 inches long made with 30 inch wide one by one wire. The trap is 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It would be better if the trap was 12 inches tall and 12 inches wide for catching beaver in the stream. When made with a power door version the trap is extremely effective in catching beaver up to 50 pounds in such small trap. Make the trap a little wider with power doors you can catch beaver up to 65 pounds. It can be under water in the water Or on land.

Just got off the phone with sterling. They don't have an item number for them yet but they knew exactly what I was talking about when I said Kirk Delabs cage trap trigger.
Said their $35 a piece for the trigger and $1.75 per spring. Said their working on getting them on the website and they might just sell them with the springs as well.
Ps no hold on the phone what so ever ! Picked right up !

Here is how a four-way trigger works with the support mechanism. This is just a way to show how the trigger affects the mechanism allowing the trap to work in many different ways.

Kirk,

Goodluck with your awesome invention. Love to see the tinkering especially with traps, I have a few ideas of my own. Good for you on the patent, it just burns me how much they cost to try to get one, doesnt lend its hand to the little guy winning thats for sure.

This shows how powerful the springs can be if you use a long springs on each door. The speed allows you to catch a beaver swimming it fast as he can swim going through the trap. By using a guillotine door the door cuts through the water very fast extremely fast. this allows you to have many different designs with the support mechanism trigger especially ones with power. Allows you to have a much shorter trap In most cases.

You may want to make a wooden trap to catch small animals stead of PVC. make whatever size you want to make. If you want to make a power door trap I can show you how to do it with Wood in one of my videos. This makes an excellent armadillo trap it will make an excellent rabbit trap you could do any number of things to make the trap work best for any situation. I’m having a plate made that will allow you to mount the mechanism just like on this video.

I have been delayed producing the video on how to build a trap using the support mechanism trigger. Try and get it done over the next two days. Thank you
