So many minks were killed crossing a nearby road that a plow was brought in to help clear the carcasses away, said Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach
.

Great job by the nuts that turned them out

Hopefully they catch and prosecute the culprits but I have my doubts there will be much effort to figure out who individuals responsible even are

So an animal rights group.....concerned about safety, health and welfare of animals kept in captivity......release them in the wild, where they are killed en masse or face certain starvation in harsh winter conditions. Not sure how that differs from killing kittens or puppies with a lawn mower. They ought to face the same charges.

We should "release" the animal rights people into the wild, naked like they came into the world. See how long they last.

Do away with all the welfare freebies for starters.Free food,,free heat,, free housing,,free medical etc. That should start down the trail to people smartening up.Should lower our taxes in the process since we wont be paying for all that.

For the 80% of our citizens that live in cities and metro areas an event like this is looked at as naughty thing to do and have know comprehension regarding the long term impacts of how that ranch or firm will run, operate or figure out the genetics of their herd after all those animals were released. Little to no idea the complexities of how these operations are run. Insurance can cover the physical losses but can't straighten out the genetics and breeding etc. that is crucial in how the breed their herd or cull etc.
