I just purchased a bear trek380 xbow for my wife an kids. Very affordable at 225$ with arrows an scope. Spent 5 minutes sighting it in an it's deadly way past the 40 yards Ive shot. Fairly quiet and fast at 380fps

They were bought out by ten point I think. Mine that failed was less than a year old and had been shot maybe 50 times. I took it back to Cabela's and they gave me another after some arguing. I'm still killing deer with it . I think I've been using it 17 years.

Sounds like you got a lot of life out of that bow. There's many good x bow manufacturers. Yep it just depends how thick your wallet is.

My son bought a Ten Point Raider you can (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and uncock it , 400fps for arount $800

Wife's had both shoulders rebuilt and has to have one redone Dec. 27. Bought her a ten point with decocking, its small, fast, and she likes it. It was like 1300.00

I had a one-year-old PSE Fang explode as a limb shattered while up a ladder stand. That'll get your attention. Called PSE, sent the destroyed parts to them and they replaced a new limb set.

I had a older Barnett crossbow I didn't like it had a plastic bolt retention that kept breaking. I replaced it with a Killer Instinct Ripper 415 fps. I'm very happy with it and the Killer Instinct company. I had a tiny split in one limb just starting and they sent me a complete front (limbs, pulleys, cable, string, silencers, dampeners) everything completely assembled all I had to do was remove the old and bolt on new about 5 minutes. They have a life time warranty on their crossbows to original purchaser. My daughter has a Center Point Dagger 390 with an added cranking device. It is a nice crossbow but I prefer my Killer Instinct. Mine was around $400 at Bass Pro 3 years ago, my daughters was around $250 last year.
