Well the orange army is doing a lot of shooting this morning Heard 47 shots so far and only been 25 minutes lol gosh I hate This state for hunting. However I don’t mind the couple deer camps I visit. Good luck and watch out for stray bullets. Now 59 lol

That's a lot of shooting. Good luck.
Our rifle opened today and I've heard one shot!
But it's because we have no deer so nobody move here...

I sat til 930, then had to warm up. Heard some shooting around, not a whole lot, but enough. It quit at 730 though, no shots since. Saw 1 doe in thick cover, she winded me. Going back out around 2. One of these years I will figure out how to keep my feet warm. Seriously Lacrosse Ice man boots , one size larger than your shoe size. ALSO...a small handwarmer in each boot toe. Wool socks but not thick ones.

One nice small 8 point good deer for public land in our group today shot at 8:30. Woods was overall very quiet as far as gun shots heard. The weather ran from very mostly windy had 45 minute snow squall could barely see 20 yards. I saw 7 deer that best I could tell all does. I tried to find one I use my meat tag on. Just couldn't line anything up. So just the one deer shot in our group of 5.

I sat all day. I love my box blind as long as your out the wind you got It made. Saw 9 deer none of them provided me with a decent shot. With the big winds we had today the deer were all hanging out In the creek bottom. I'll be down there tommrow. No shooting at all around our land. We are surrounded with standing corn and that's going to save a lot of deer this year.

Didn't get out today, but didn't hear a single shot all day and we border the county forest. Only 5 trucks parked in the parking area, no drag marks either when I checked at 3:30 this afternoon after coming back from town. Not many hunting parties up like in the old days.
My son's friend texted a picture of nice buck he got this afternoon back home.
