Skinned and boarded the cat I got yesterday.
He was a fat sucker,so I clean skinned it.
Didnt want to rough skin and do on the beam, and get all that grease on the fluffy fur.
Clean skinning is always an option.

Med sized-39x9 on the board. [Linked Image]

Looks good Boco. I would have loved to run a line with you back when I could.

Last few years we have been polluted with cats, just cant run a bunch of long lines anymore. Can still run a couple short ones though, lol.
Cats pops cycle,so gotta thin them when they get heavy and quit when they start going down to help them recover. This might be the last good year for cats for a while. Will know better later on if there are any kits left in the mix or not.

You never know who might show up on your threshold, chances are it won't be me, not for want. Keep posting though ole boy, I am among many who enjoy it. Dang, if we would have met back in the 90's when I was up there, we'd have had a time still.

You live a good clean life up there Boco, it tickles me for sure.

Nice job... Wish we could trap cats. There are alot of them around, but the state still won't give us a season.

Yes Sir. Ain't that a big how ya do. The Ohio Wildlife Council "voted to table it" but to my knowledge Karen Stewart Linkhart voted NO, then in another vote, they decided to table it. It's been a big bugaloo!

Love your lynx threads Boco. Having never seen one in the wild they have me rapt staring at them just like the martin. I think every trapper that doesn't have a main fur species like wolverine and such has a dream or two about them and their fur. I wonder though if anyone who never saw a possum can say the same lol
