Steel traps, I enjoy your wild adventures sir! I've not been out to that major sheep range to trap much but know a few trappers who do and they are all good at what they do all year long. I'm gonna start on a job here in a couple weeks in the panhandle where they've lost large numbers of exotic sheep and it seems a lion may be in the mix, so we'll see. Gotta love game cameras! But the temps will be chilled than we have down in the valley, so after that the Mrs. and I will high tail down south and get busy for several months on those coyotes we haven't cleaned up yet or have snuck in.
Be safe out there and thanks for the ride along. I need to get to Lucero's one of these days myself! Catch a bunch!
Blessings, Mark

I have seen = in back yard under shed. 2 big boxes of = amber bottles. Its just him and his son So not a supper fast production line. But many 5 gallons buckets of lure are made. Just have to get bottled. Keep in mind. He is about to be 87 years old. He has a few books left. But is getting more made locally. So hopefully yoy will get order forum soon. Just selling 3 lures for now. JL # 1 =. Coyotero = Winter Wolf. I wish i could talk him into selling = the lure i am testing now. Caught about 300 coyotes with it over last 3 years with it. BUT its hard to make. And has ingredients that are hard to get

He told me at one time that he was making 14 different lures, but had cut it down to 3. He didn't mention the one y'all are testing and neither did I.

If you want to be really impressed, try a Honda Pioneer 1000.

If Honda would put a real motor in their 50" wide Pioneer, I'd give them more thought. All of my trapping access trails here are width restricted, and steep and rocky. The Pioneer 520 doesn't have enough clearance or suspension travel or oomph to get it done. See tons of Maverick Trails and RZR Trails during the summer. Neighbor even has an older RZR 570 that has more travel and clearance than the Honda. The Pioneer 1000 for me would be limited to driving the same roads and trails I can drive my truck on. A Maverick Trail 1000 with tracks for winter use would take me everywhere I need to go once the snow gets deep. That's how the outfitters roll around here, either that or on ATVs with tracks when they're chasing lions.
