There are better sites for electrodes up the tush

Powder coating cast lead bullets. You have to shake or tumble them in a plastic container along with the power coat for some time to bult up enough static to allow the power coat to stick to the bullets before baking them. Was hoping these was something similar to what people use for the power coat gun set ups to make a better static ...field I guess

I would guess Donovan uses his vibratory tumbler to prep his brass before reloading it. Just a guess though.

Donovan beat me with his clarification by 8 seconds.

Put a bunch of carpet in there, turn it on and you're bound to have a charge! Lol

...on a serious note, is electroplating out of the question? I don't know all the ins and outs, but it is just a matter of chemicals and time, as I understand it.

Can't help you but I had a fleece jacket on the other day and got the mess shocked out of me when I grabbed the sink handle

I would think a reloading forum would have a hack or more on how to introduce static like you are asking about

One other thought, back when I worked in manufacturing the tires on fork trucks would generate a ton of static, had to have drag chains on them. Think they were made of nylon (were not rubber) maybe a container made of that stuff?

If you want more static electricity you need less humidity. Try a dehumidifier in the room prior to tumbling.

not that you can just push the electrode into the powder

they do make guns that put a charge on the the part then push powder in the air at it

I know guys make drilled out boards and put the bullets in nose down or base down depending on the bullet under the drilled out board they have aluminum foil and attach the electrode to that then spray the bullets and bake them in the rack this gets a good coat on the parts that touch the barrel , guys who do gas checks do base down , it is obliviously easier to stand up some bullets than others.

I used the #5 recyclable container (rubber maid take aways I think they are) the 3-4 quart bowl with lid and the black Walmart air soft bbs put about 2 table spoons of harbor freight red powder in with 1/2 inch bbs and around a pound of bullets shake up and down

those containers do crack you can repair them for a while with strips of duck tape on the outside

after the initial batch a table spoon ever other 100 is about right I use a nitrile glove I rub my fingers around in the powder and then I can grab the bullets out and stand them up on my parchment paper to bake

that was just my way I mostly did 9 and 40 bullets
