The government already subsidizes the railroads..theyll bail them out.

The people.might get what they want but the govt will be paying the bill.

My understanding is that the government does the subsidizing of the railroad because in The event of a war the railroad will be there to move equipment and whatever necessary for defense quickly.

The government does not pay that tab. All of us do, plus a 15% tip for the grease palms in congress.

Average salary in the train is over 120k, they need a raise.

If it is a raise like when I Iron worked 90% of that would end up going into insurance or other cost increasing things and we would get a dime on the check.
