Deer camp antics are hilarious and stories that get passed down are classics. Typically all but one think it is funny, but as time goes by they come around and enjoy the joke as much as the rest. We have some great stories, I’d like to write book some day of short stories.

that is mighty nice of you to be so thoughtful
we bought a pop up blind this year , my son loves it keeps the wind down and the rain/snow off also conceals you so much better had a guy walk right up to us about 30-40 yards out before he saw us , we even had our WI DNR required >144 sq inches of orange on the roof visible from all sides
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I once took a maniquin (dressed in camo) and put in a buddies treestand. Scared the crap out of him when he clinbed into the stand before sunup the next morning. Good thing i left early and was 350 miles away. Almost went to blows over that one. Sarge

We had a member of our group who always seemed to complain about other hunters setting up too close to him, never seemed to be happy. Someone found a life sized Santa at a garage sale and set it up in a portable stand about 50 yards to the east of his stand. As the sun came up opening morning, he spotted the hunter who had the gall to set up so close to him but was looking into the sun. Wasn't until the sun got high enough to see what it was that he realized he had been duped. He said he was going to get even but never did.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Buddy of mine was taking his new girlfriend out hunting opened day. His cousin found out and he went and rounded up every picture he could Find of any of his past girlfriends over the last say ten years and tacked them all over The walls and ceiling of his shack so when it got light out that opening morning She wasn’t in a great mood. Lol
