Finally got the boat to the lake and ran it some
. Between waiting on parts , getting it in for the motor , then finding a good weather day that I wasn’t hunting , I took it to the lake . Works great , just have to do a break in period on the new lower unit . Dealer wanted to trade with me but for a 9 year old boat it still looks pretty good.

Boat looks like new I never would have guessed 9 years old. It sucks being broke down, but getting back out should make you forget all about it soon. Glad to see your back on the water

Now install either a radar unit or aircraft landing light to keep you off of tree stumps or other obstructions. Nice looking boat!

Thanks . Dealer offered me 40,000 trade in. I paid 46,000 for it 9 years ago. But since it is paid for I wasn't going to borrow another 40,000 to just upgrade components. Lay out and major design is the same. PLUS motor and trolling motor are just 18 months old. Only thing it will need and that's not anytime soon is a new trailer.

That is a great looking boat no matter how old it is.

Joking aside, those lowers don't need much in the way of break in, change the gear oil after 5 hours and check it for metal content. If there aint any in it , you are good to go.
