I am Looking for some reviews on the Ford Mavericks truck. The 2 wheel drive plain Jane version. I think the list at $21,000.00 but you know what that means I bet 25,000 plus. I have a 2010 Dodge 4x4 , 4 door with 145,000 miles. Has a lot of rust on wheel wells but I have sealed them Up with Rhino Clad bed liner and has slowed the rust down some. Dodge Runs excellent and I really think with me only driving it for hunting less 3000 miles a year it will Last 8 or 10 more years. I am Going to retire this year and thinking the the Ford Maverick truck will get me to nursing home or funeral home in less than 10 years. I work for a company that is owned by Toyota and supposedly can buy a Toyota Tacoma truck for $300.00 over invoice. But still even with discount I am sure at least $45,000.00. What you guys think of the Ford Maverick? Marty

I ordered one in September while the order banks were open for a whopping 5 days. My 1/2 ton has 238k on it. Figured I'd grab a cheap little rig for everyday and save my full size for towing. The 25+ mpg will be loads better than the 13 I'm getting now. I ordered an XLT, FX4 package, 4k tow package, copilot 360 package, and it came out to right about $32k.

Will I stopped at Muscatine Toyota dealership right across street from we’re I work. They discontinued the Toyota employee $300.00 over invoice pricing in 2021. They have no cars or trucks to sale. They have 1 new 2022 odd color Tacoma and ( 2 ) 2022 tundra on the lot and ( 2 ) 2022 new cars on lot. No salesman. 2 sales Mgrs selling the the few used and 3 2022’s on lot. They told me it will be like this for all of 2023. They are hoping they get 5 new 2023 cars/trucks every month to sale. Not one car or truck used or new has a price tag on it. It is unbelievable. Never seen any thing like it. It looks like I will not be buying anything for 2 years. 2010 4x4 truck has145,000 miles on on it but runs very good but rusting on wheel wells. . 2007 Honda Accord has 142,000 miles on It with 1 rust spot about size of silver dollar but runs very good. I wanted to retire this year and buy a new Tacoma 4x4. Might just have to make these run couple more years at least but still retire this year. . Marty

Why would Ford name any vehicle a "Maverick"? Remember the old Ford Maverick cars? Not really a Mustang, just a piece of junk.
