Nothing like the smell of skunk after a wash, lingers around for awhile.

Yep, it would be pretty bad, it may just put your marriage to the test, lol.

In addition to what has been said, if you can get someone to bring extra coffee, put some in plastic containers and place them throughout the house and or outer buildings and it may help absorbing some of the smell.

Good luck!

Why bring him in the house in the first place.
A dog like that would be fine tied up outside.

Yeah we've had several house dogs that became outside dogs real quick when a skunk was involved lol.

A good friend of mine years ago let his Jack Russel out around midnite. He said he saw a cat and the dog does not like cats. So it zooms out-you can guess what hapened. It yelped and came running back past him, he could see the yellow stuff. The dog then went and jumped in the big with his wife. Very expensive.........jk

Just happened to me about a month ago. Opened the door to run the dogs before work and there was a skunk in the driveway. Dog darted out and immediately got sprayed which drifted onto my truck and myself. It was a smelly weekend. LOL.

My heeler did the same. We have a glassed in shower. Me, that dog, and concoctions of whatever the wife handed me, went round and round in that shower for an hour. The peroxide/soda mix is what did the trick.
