Gang,,, my thermostat took a crap on me… I got it out, did the hot water test in a pan on the stove and as I thought,, it was shot,, it never opened. What kind of thermostat do I need to replace it with? I’ve seen everything from 160 degrees to 195,,, not sure which one goes into a 2000 Chevy blazer. Which temperature?? I don’t wanna blow my truck up because I put the wrong one in. Thanks in advance

Agree. A lower temp would work, but, not as efficiently.

195 to to get the computer fully out of preset so u can get best mpg possible

if it get below 30 there you want the OEM

if you lived in south Florida you might want the low temp or if it was a summer only car
