New York City is advertising for a “rat czar” for $170,000 per year. I can only imagine the seedy and filthy places plus dangerous places you would have to spend your work day in.

I would apply for the job but it would cost almost the whole $170,000.00 just to pay the tolls commuting in each day from New Jersey where I live. Rats in NYC are so big even a coyote would be afeared of em'.

I wouldn’t take a job there for half a million.

you are all thinking about this too hard. in a middle class working man way

your thinking about working.

you are thinking about killing rats , managing the issue , controlling disease and infestations

as a Czar you don't actually deal with the issue , your write stuff about it , attend meetings , wear your suit and make sure people are not using unapproved poisons in the high rises.

we have a Drug Czar , and a ever growing drug issue

an aids , czar , a budget czar an Afghanistan czar , an auto czar and the list goes on and on and on

your buddy Barak Obama appointed the most czars of any president 50 , 39 of them were confirmed by the senate

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

The salary might only be $170,000.00, but the kickbacks on the over 32 million in contracts you would get to sell will likely be around $3,200,000.

I have experience, I used to trap them in the local elevator. Lots of fun and educational for any youngster.

Finally a man who understands how NYC is run, the real question is how many rat pelts per month the Czar is entitled to.

I was a culvert rat for several years. We built box culverts under roads.
My cousins in Seattle were hood rats.

You are com0letly right .Having a job drawing a salary and working no longer are the same thing .Here in PA this week a PA State Trooper was arrested for stealing and selling guns from the evidence locker He was also charged with submitting false paperwork for his work hours. He filed paperwork claiming works hours that amounted to $98,000, 00 in wages that he did not actually work .

And why your "work" remotely. You would have to travel ther at time to be sure your kick backs are lined out and hidden correctly though.
