Whats all this funny looking worm like stuff around the intestines? I want to cook some of this coons hind quarters but not sure if I should, as you can see his liver looks good?
If I cook it really well in a slow cooker will I be fine?

ate lots of coons and possums growing up. After trapping and selling and cleaning lots of coon I got to where just couldn't eat them no more after cleaning them and seeing that. Nothing wrong with it

Same here story, minus the growing up eating them.. But after skinning and putting up countless over the past 35 years I would have to be pretty hungry to give one a try. Seen many many things I’d just as soon not of while taking off their pj’s. But if ya want to, more power to ya!
