Sorry, will mink musk attract other mink. I would think so not sure. Was going to save the glands.

Not a mink trapper but they have good value to lure makers. Definitely worth saving one way or the the other. I'd buy them if they are good, well cut glands fresh frozen if u can get at least a pint of them.

I think you can attract big buck mink but think it scares off smaller and female mink. At least that was my experience with it,but I'm just getting into targeting mink so still lots to learn

Absolutely will attract Mink and any other thing with a nose. We don’t give critters enough credit. Smelling is their life. They can tell lots of info from a scent. One being how long ago it was made and whether or not that big bully mink is around the corner.

I ran a lot of unbated pocket sets and after a mink catch odds were good that I would get several more mink in that pocket

That was my experience too.

When us older people say, "Enjoy them while they're young." We are talking about our hips and knees, not our kids.

In the Trapperman Book Volume II there's is a good article by Tim “fossil2” Sawatzky, who catches more mink in a season than 90% will ever see in our lives, so his advice should be listened to.

"After each catch of a mink, the scent glands are squeezed and the musk applied to the bank over the set. I’ve never seen this repel a mink of any age or sex, and I’ve had great success with it as an attractant for both coon and rats as well.

Submitted by Tim “fossil2” Sawatzky"

It sure is strong! The first mink I shkinned I was wondering when the smell would come that people were talking about. The second one I went a lil deep on the initial cut. You’d think it’d be good for some kinda lure!

Ack, seeing you are at 90 I think you will make the century mark. Way to go.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
