Years ago one of the members on here knew someone making goat milk soap.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. My source in Wyoming seems to be almost out of product. Thanks.

My wife used to make it, but didn't breed any does last year.
And don't think any are bred now.

Every year I go to the county fair and the 4-H kids sell it out of the goat barn.
Maybe your local 4-H kids do the same.

Try mothwood.co/shop. They're literally like almost my backyard. I haven't tried them yet. It seems to be readily available locally. But maybe there's a lot more goat farmers/ enthusiasts in my neighborhood than in Illinois.

By the way this is a good question. I don't have goats but I do like goats milk very much.

We make soap from our goat milk, actually it's the colostrum that we use, although either will work. We do hot or cold process, cold you have to let it set up longer before use. From what we know it seems you can substitute milk instead of water in the recipes, there's a number of them online, we just went through them and kind of came up with ones that work, and for me, not too complex
