Found a roadkill bear along my boss's property, big bear, boss wants a rug, he was bruised bad but minimal damage to the hide. was turning green but hair is NOT slipping, is it worth making a rug?

If he's turning green probably too late, hair will more than likely start slipping before cleaning and tanning process can be finished. That's from my experience any how.

Cat trapper is probably right, but a tip a got from a taxidermist, who gets in more green bellied stuff than they ever want to deal with. Spray the green down with Lysol. Do it immediately. The Lysol will kill the bacteria and stop the green belly, but if it is too far gone the hair will still slip in the tanning process.
