You can buy coal stoves, at auction around here, for $50.00 or less, especially if they are heavy and in a basement.

This is the correct answer to the question posed. Seems like many here need to broaden their horizons on the current leaders of the world. All blamed on a myth that is unprovable, based on computer models. Last I checked, ma nature don’t use computers.

This is the model I have. I bought mine for $400 and refurbished it myself. If those stoves were complete and in decent shape, I'd buy every one I could get my grimy fingers on.

It doesnt get that cold over there.
Their water pipes are on the outside of their houses and water tanks in their attics.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Those are the same people who voted for this. I'd rather they freeze than chop down all our forests for wood.

The UK has enough oil and gas that they could be energy independent just like we could be, but the Climate Hoaxers/ W.E.F. shut them down just here.

Here is Tucker calling them all out for their hypocrisy.

firewood isn't even the issue , millions of cords sitting and rotting , we have had high winds , storms and tree disease and insects there is so much down and standing dead wood all over the place.

labor and people who want to do it are the issue.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Meanwhile life on a boat on top of a hill in east Tennessee. The grass outside is somewhat crunchy and I have to go in a minute to winterize my last boat of the season. Stove is lit, dogs are warm and I have enough firewood split and stacked for the next 3 winters. Also have a decent reserve in diesel gas and propane. Freezer is full, canned a bunch of stuff last season to get us through till the next harvest. And in a pinch there is a bunch more protein on the hoof running around outside. Ohh and my vegetable gardens are not registered.

UK building standards state that water pipes have to be 1 meter under ground to prevent them from freezing up. The pipes that Boco saw on the outside of houses are for natural gas. NOT water. Easy mistake to make when ya don't know what one is talking about.

Water freezes at 0c-that is far from cold.
There wouldnt be very many people around if they started dropping dead at minus 10 or minus 15 c just because they had no heat, lol
Newsflash-people can get along just fine at those temps with just a few extra clothes and go about their buisness,or a few extra blankets at night.
Even a lot colder than that.

Wrong, there are plenty of houses in Ireland and England with outside water pipes and drain pipes.
Showers and drains often just drain directly into a sump outside the house from an outside water drainpipe.
On the farm there is still an outside hand pump used year round-it just doesnt get that cold over there.
