I have had folks calling me checking on River's condition? They have been praying for her and asked, is she getting around, is she back to playing, how is the eating and digesting, could you update me please.

She is at home and getting along pretty well. Had to learn to crawl again. She has surgery scheduled for December 21 but they are not sure if she is ready, she is not gaining weight very well.

Her 1st birthday is December 17, that will be quite a day of rejoicing in our family!

We're still thinking about and praying for this poor baby.

I shared River’s story with a friend. We are both RN’s so you can imagine all the questions that comes to mind. My friend attends Mount Paran Church, a very large church near Atlanta, GA. They have taken River to heart and are praying fervently for her. My dad is on Trapperman. He has kept me informed. Mount Paran Church is constantly asking my friend for updates. My Bible study group is also praying for River. I will continue to go through my dad, Kent Smith, so not to overwhelm you with questions about River.

We will keep her in our prayers as well. If any one can help her it will be Mayo, they have some amazing doctors on staff. My wife heads up on of their inventory teams and I can tell you they will jump through any hoops necessary for their patients.
