I bought some Mexican T bones from a local store, was the most incredibly tasteless meat I ever hung a lip over!

Thanks for your unsolicited nasty remark. I respect our local cattlemen very much. However, the cattleman gets 1.50/# for his beef and after the packer and distributor add their fair share a good steak is about $18/# . I spend plenty of money at steakhouses. However in today's world I'm always looking for a way to cut costs.
And, if you want people to be able to identify American beef from imported beef, how about fighting for country of origin labeling..............l

All I can think of is a commercial that runs on the boob tube..

AVOCADO'S from Mexico!!!!

We don't eat a lot of beef but eat a lot of venison.
I'll eat beef when I see a good deal on it at our local sav-a-lot. Have no idea where it comes from but I'll look through every package till I find one that suits my taste. Which usually means as much marbling as I can find. I enjoy a nice marbled chuck roast slow cooked with root vegetables the best

Find a local farmer to buy by the 1/4. Way cheaper, and better than what you'll find in any store.

I agree with country of origin labeling. Not only for beef, but all foods.
As for beef I'll stick with USA, not that Mexican crap.

Oh now Gary, lighten up a little. If you post on a public forum you may encounter differing opinions or perhaps even a little joking. You wouldn’t last long in a sale barn-first time somebody made fun of your purse, you’d be all upset and crying about unsolicited nasty remarks. You’re free to buy all the Mexican, Guatemalan or Brazilian(or wherever they tell you it’s from) beef you want. And I’m free to ridicule you about it.
