Is there anything that can be added to a bait or lure to tame the skunk aroma?

Keep the lid very loose or completely remove it and stir frequently. The essence will continue to evaporate around the clock.

Or completely remove it from the smaller container and transfer it to a larger open mouth container. Or a bucket which provides a much larger exposed surface area, depending upon the volume of the material in question. Let it sit in an open container out of the weather until you are satisfied with the odor result you are seeking. Stirring regularly will cause the vapor to more easily escape. I would refrain from adding anything that may change the intended formula of the seller.

Thanks, Mr. Jameson. Had a friend who got a product that was too strong for his liking.
