I thought government was done insisting people get the shot but I guess not.

I had a crash in 2006. I was making a left turn off a highway. Another truck coming from behind me tried to pass. I stopped but he still tore the front of my semi off. I had been accident free for the 25 years of semi driving prior to that and at least 2 million miles. In the 16 years since and at least another million miles I have been accident free.

Probably is time to put me on high risk insurance. After all, I got a speeding ticket in 1990.

This study is dumb.

If Covid has taught anyone anything it's that a world can be turned, in months, to a single focus - real or imagined.
But some of us already knew this.

Yes, I'm a high risk driver. I have to get up well before sunrise and drive long distances to perform "essential" tasks... I can't sit at home wearing a mask and wringing my hands.

Just being on the road increases my risk factor. But I'll pit my driving record against any of the fools churning out these BS statistics.

Another example on how research grant money is distributed. Submit a grant application to study xyz proving what the govt wants proven and you are much more likely to receive the grant. Just try to get a grant for a study that shows the climate changed more radically in times past before the industrial revolution.

It makes perfectly good sense if you keep reminding yourself the people doing these weird studies heads are as empty as last year’s birds nest. I’ve got you beat Danny. What is the saying ?Figures don.t lie but liars figure .With a little imagination almost everyone can come up with statistics that support their preconceived theory ,For example an old standby .Most accidents happen within 20 miles of your home .And most of the miles you drive are for most drivers are that same 20 miles ,
