Just saw that Lincoln Fur posted on Facebook this evening that he is ending his fur buying for the foreseeable future. Sad to see for those on his routes, had solid prices and added some pressure to Petska Fur. Wonder if other buyers are considering this with the current market trends?

Anyone left has to be more selective.

Why buy on the road when it's likely to be a losing prospect with all the road costs, fuel $$$, wear and tear on trucks that have become ungodly expensive to replace, eating in restaurants or fast food, motels, etc. I can't see how it could work. Unless you can pay pennies on the dollar.
