Well over here in MS we're supposed to have two nights with a low of 9. Be broken pipes all over the state just in time for Christmas.

The exact reason I don't gamble trying to grow citrus. Most years I could get satsumas through but then along comes that one year you lose it all. I may even lose my fig to this one. It freezes back every few years but it has always come back from the roots.

I do feel bad for folks who aren't used to that kind of weather. Is that becoming less of a surprise for you?

Growing up further north in Louisiana, teen Temps were common. However, I now live almost at the gulf of Mexico and it is not common here.

I heard that the green iguanas had made it up into Louisiana. Better watch out for raining iguanas and throw a few on the barbecue. Think of them as long tailed frogs.

I'm sure them Cajuns got a gumbo recipe for that. They'll eat anything and could make dirt taste good.

They will prepare anything for sure, but I spent 3 months down there and discovered why their hot sausage section at the grocery is larger than the beer section. With enough hot sauce anything is edible. There was a domino's within walking distance of the hotel I stayed in. I ate a lot of pizza.

Yeah I think our high Friday is 41 and then dropping all day with 20+mph winds reaching a low of 17 that night. Told the manager today if anyone decides to quail hunt that day, that I’ll be busy, sorry! He said don’t worry, anyone calls to hunt and we’re already booked! I like cold, but brutal cold and wind sucks!! With that said, I’ll probably be in a deer stand, lol.
