bearcat2 trapper B Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 2,487 Idaho	I usually have my marten traps tied to a limb or something to the side so they don't hang straight down which alleviates the problem. Not really a big deal to clean the fur, but if it cools back off before you check them you better not try and take the marten out of the trap until he is unthawed, dripping over marten and trap will freeze fur to the trap badly.
