Good evening T man. Been a long time since I signed on.
This trap is going on an auction in Feb. I am not sure what it is. Does anyone here know the manufacturer of this trap ?

If I put my wife inside a high fence will her rack get bigger ?

Ask White17, they say he was around when the first iron was forged. looks like this trap was the second thing out of that fire.

If it's homemade, it's worth whatever someone would be willing to pay for it. As an example, I wouldn't pay $20 for it but some big fancy interior designer working for a millionaire client may pay hundreds if they think it fits the "feng shui" of the cabin build he's doing.

The only exception I can see is if by chance that is an original Newhouse (or similar collector trap) chain on it and it's complete, there would be some value in that.

ADC I agree. I think the lack of replies tells everything I need to know. Back when I was on a lot back in the early 2000’s half the folks on this site would climbing over each other trying to buy this trap regardless of it was homemade or manufactured by a know brand. Collector value is only what someone is willing to pay.

Unless you can put a story behind the trap assuming its a homemade one, getting the price up on it these days wiuld be pretty hard. Other than people having more money than sense, the history/story behind these kind of pieces is why people go crazy on stuff like that.
