Put out 6 sets on my home farm yesterday and worried because it’s been so wet, I didn’t put any antifreeze and it got in the low twenties last night. But it didn’t matter. Hope to get some time off work so I can get a few dozen sets out.

I have been traping for a long time .And a single days catch like that would be a thrill for me Keep after and post more pictures when you catch more .

Wry nice. That’s my luck, put out a few sets and they all connect. Triple the sets and then by day 3 or 4 nothing, lol.

I’ve been trapping since I was 10, a few years in my early 20s I “longlined” and had days of 10-12reds often, then prices dropped and I had to get a big boy job. I’ve always set a few sets every year but this year would like to get back out hard for at least a week

What a great catch wish we had reds like we used to in the early 70's but the coyotes took care of that caught my first yote in 75.

I was 10 also when I caught my first muskrat .And the lure of the trapline caught me when I caught it. Of course I am always happy to just catch something every day .But on the days that I have 4 or 5 animals to put up that is about all the amount of time I have to devote to it .
