The triple deuce is another good option. 788, 700 and 24v are all in my collection also. Good little caliber for sure also legal to hunt deer with here.

I do love the Hornet though.

I stick with NATO calibers…5.56, 7.62, 9mm, and .45. Yeah, no imagination in caliber selection I know, but tons of ammo! Do have a few other calibers, but mainly when I buy now it’s one of those 4.

A used CZ in 22Hornet graced the rack of a local emporium for most of 2020. I wished I'd bought it, but the ammo was completely absent up here for a long time. Sorry now I passed on it. I have absolutely no need for one, and am actually trying to downsize.

I own a 22 hornet. Have for several decades. Never once thought about trading or selling it. A great fox gun.

Very true. But I like the feeling of a barn full of hay, fire wood stack that's full and ammo boxes over following and needing more cans to put it in just as much.

I have been thinking on a .204 but I have yet to hear of a man who regrets investing in a .222 or a 22 hornet either one
