7 degrees here at the moment with everything glazed over with ice and then a little snow on that. Been running off the generator since before 4 am.

My stepdad was watching the thermometer when the wind hit last night. He said he watched it drop 10 degrees in 5 minutes. It was 46 after dark last night around 6pm. By midnight it was 4.

Luckily, our pipes have not frozen. We got a trace of snow so I guess we'll have a "white-ish" Christmas.

Cold is ok, but the wind can eff right off. Manitoba is kinda surrounded by this ugly weather, weird. Flights are all buggered cuz not much is coming in. Hope people have trip cancellation insurance. Going to Vegas in February, any trapping stores there?
