take off the wick, use the darn things for hand or body warmer, been doing it for years. give it try

Did that turkey hunting last year. Removed wick and dropped it down my coat.

Will it stay lit in a pocket? I never thought about doing that. Might be handy in boat spring fishing. Them days don't quite need big heater just dry hands a bit.
Do you refill your cartridges? I been doing that for several years now. Got pretty good supply of them pick up from people tossing them.
Actually thought you meant the little rechargeable ones. I have couple them the boy bought me. Work ok but don't last long.
