My water pressure switch is set at 30/50.

My pressure gauge sits at 30-31psi. Doesn’t go up or down from there.

Pressure switch turns on and off as we use water, but the gauge doesn’t move.

Time for a new gauge?

yep or wait for that one to thaw and see if it works then.

Quality gauge $10.00. Replace the gauge.

Knew of a guy (plumber) that ran into that. Leaned over the pressure tank and started running up the pressure. He didn't realize the gauge was frozen. Tank blew up on him, eventually killing him.

I don’t think it’s frozen, it’s in my house at a balmy 22.5C.

I’ll replace it next week!

Replace it, they're cheap, when you take it off you'll probably find its clogged with rust or something,

Had the same problem.Switch work fine,,water worked fine,,gauge was stuck.Just replace it.Dont forget to shut the water off (your main) to the tank and drain it first,

You could be losing water somewhere....hence no pressure building.

I don’t think I am, because the switch doesn’t keep turning on. I stared at it for roughly 6 mins straight. Then yelled to my wife TURN ON THE WATER NOW!!…HEY!!…ARE YOU LISTENING!?!?!? TURN ON THE WATER!!!!!

OKAY!!!

Then the switch turned on for about 15 seconds then turned off. Lol

Wrap a 100$ American bill around it for 5 minutes
by that time the guage should know that the phrase on the bill is " In God We Trust"
if that fails
take a wrench and tap it
there is a metal spring inside that rust up and ceases
