what do you consider really cold up here it only gets to - 20 without wind chill, so any good boot will work, my feet sweat easily so I wear a couple pair of socks if I'm ice fish outside I like a rubber boot most of the time its zero or above

LaCrosse Ice Kings are my usual icefishing boot as they're fairly comfortable when walking around. If the game plan is to mostly sit and not walk much I have a pair of Cabela's Trans-Alaska III Pac boots that are a really warm boot and good at keeping feet dry in slush/wet conditions.

Baffin Icebreaker boots is what I have now. A bit bulky, but fairly light. Supposed to be good to -100. So far, my feet have not been even remotely cool in these boots. Definitely, want to wait to put them on until you need them. A thin pair of socks is all you need with them.

try adding a level of complexity to warm boots try and find them in a 14 or a 15

I tell my son how lucky he was to get his moms small feet he only wears a 13 which make it a lot easier to find boots

not like size 11 easy but easier

A mickey of whiskey fits just right - one in each boot.

Agreed. The boots I use for extreme cold are the Baffin Impacts. For being on machinery or even walking they are bulky but lite. Not a great hiker but when you have to be out moving in weather plenty do able.
I’ve never had a cold foot using them, incredibly warm.
I have never gotten into water with them, it’s frozen when I use them, but I do not believe the uppers would be very waterproof.
Were I an ice fisherman or such they are a no brainer.

I have always used Rocky's and since the factory is an hour away I drive up and buy them and their socks as well.
